At about 11:05 this morning, someone rang saying they were from Amazon and that my account had been used to buy an iPhone 11. I just put the phone down straight away.

Got two calls from this number earlier. Since I didn’t know who it was, I ignored it. When I tried calling back, the caller didn’t leave any ID or message, so I decided to block them completely to avoid any more nuisance calls.

Honestly, you should try one of those BT call blocker phones, they send any unknown numbers straight to voicemail without even ringing your phone. I get loads of dodgy calls every day but thanks to that, I’m never bothered by the ringing. Of course, no one ever leaves a message either, which isn’t really surprising!

Watch out, it’s a dodgy scam. Best thing to do is block and don’t pick up. If you do, just say it’s the wrong number or the wrong name. Never give out your details like your name, address or phone number. And whatever you do, don’t press any number if they ask you to.

Got a call from this number again, around 10.41 this morning, and I reckon they tried ringing me from a similar one before. Totally rubbish! Be careful though, they might begin tweaking the last digits like loads of other dodgy callers do.

Got a silent ring on my landline around 3 in the afternoon today (22/10/2019). The caller hung up on their own. Seems like Fraud Central is once again overextending but can’t back it up with proper support. This same number’s already been mentioned three times today for the same thing. Best to ignore it. It’s probably a ring back scam or something dodgy at the very least.
