02082961472 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02082961472 👆 is reported as a persistent telemarketing number associated with the Everyday Telegraph, frequently making unsolicited calls despite many recipients being registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). Callers often hang up abruptly, leave no messages, or generate silent rings, causing frustration and concerns over compliance with TPS regulations. Many users have attempted to clarify or halt contact, only to receive repeated calls, including mistaken identity checks or subscription offers. These interactions have led to complaints about intrusive and potentially automated marketing practices. New visitors should be aware that this number is linked to aggressive subscription solicitations and that efforts to stop the calls through TPS registrations have, in many cases, proved ineffective.

I received yet another call from this number at 13:25 on the 11th of March, 2008. The gentleman on the line claimed to represent the Daily Telegraph. When I inquired about the reason for their call, I made it clear that I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list. He offered an apology, stating he was unaware of that fact, which is quite surprising considering I’ve been on that register for over five years now.

Received a call earlier today from this number; they inquired about our partner and then abruptly disconnected. Just to clarify, I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS).

Absolutely, we received a call from this number as well, and I’m also registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It’s quite astonishing how often these things happen! The moment the phone rang, we were about to contact someone else. Interestingly, they didn't leave any message. So, we decided to call 1571 and found out it was this number. Quite the nuisance, honestly!

So, is this what you folks refer to as the daily Telegraph then? They seem to call me twice a day, but it’s been nothing but silent on the other end. I thought being registered with the TPS would put an end to this nonsense!

I received a call from this number earlier today, despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service and a loyal subscriber to the Telegraph. When I answered, all I got was blaring music and nobody on the line, which led my partner to hang up quite forcefully. We're planning to lodge a complaint with the TPS about this!

I received a call the other day where the caller just hung up after asking for us. Then today, as I stepped out, the phone rang again, but when I answered, it went straight to answerphone without leaving any message. I’m registered with the TPS, and apparently, this was from the Daily Telegraph, which I already have a subscription for!

Had three missed calls from this number earlier today, and each time it was radio silence on the other end. We’re also registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so it’s rather baffling why they didn't bother to say anything. Honestly, we just can’t wrap our heads around the purpose of these calls!

I received a call at half past ten this morning. I picked up the phone, but then all I heard was the calling tone before it went silent. It’s clear that it was some sort of automated dialler that links up to a sales rep as soon as you answer. Quite a nuisance, really!

Indeed, we received a call last evening where a chap claimed to be speaking to (my name). When we affirmed this, he indicated he was representing the Everyday Telegraph and inquired if we had read their publication. We replied in the negative. He then pressed on, asking which paper we do follow. I firmly stated that it was none of his business and requested him not to ring us again. That’s all she wrote! This afternoon, the same fellow called again, but as soon as the voicemail activated, he promptly disconnected. I’m also registered with TPS! Next time they ring, I plan to tell them to hold on, and I’ll just let them wait until they catch the drift!

I've received calls from this number on several occasions. Today, I decided to pick up, and lo and behold, it's a chap from the Daily Telegraph trying to peddle a subscription. How scandalous! We’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, mind you.

Received a call this evening, and it appears to be from the Daily Telegraph. Unfortunately, we weren't available to answer. I'm also registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which means these callers shouldn't be reaching out to us at all. Quite frustrating, really!
