This number called me earlier today. The caller had an Asian accent and was speaking in English. They started talking about some issue with my B.T. internet service. I told them everything was working perfectly fine and I hadn’t noticed any issues. I just ended the call right away. Pretty clear it was a scam.

This number rang me just after I got a call from another one. As soon as I answered with “hello,” they cut off. The earlier call came from 02083953728 and claimed someone had altered my IP address, asking me to verify it and share the details. Absolutely not trusting that, sounded really fishy to me.

I got a call from 02083953728, and the bloke claimed someone had tampered with my IP address and that it was exposed to everyone. He wanted me to give him my IP so he could fix it. He also asked what devices I was using, so I kept him going a bit to see where he was heading. Then he told me to grab a pen and paper and open my browser to type in www.Google or whatever. I told him I have BT Protect and use Norton safe search, and that seemed to throw him off. After that, I made up an excuse and ended the call. Seemed pretty sketchy to me. I’m pretty sure he rang back about five minutes later from a different number, but when he heard my voice he immediately hung up.

Got a call from a bloke with a South Asian accent who started off saying my name and wishing me a "Good Morning". Thing is, it was already 3pm, so I told him "Good Afternoon" instead. He said he usually says "Good morning" when picking up the phone, like a habit or something. When I tried to explain it was actually afternoon, he just hung up on me.
