I received a phone call earlier, and the chap at the other end inquired if he was conversing with Mr. Henry, which is indeed my first name. I replied that he was partially correct. He claimed to be calling from Southeast Asia but was supposedly using a virtual office based in London-hence the area code that suggested he was local, or so he asserted. His purpose was to ascertain whether my computer was sluggish due to some bizarre “invaders,” the likes of which were unfamiliar to humankind. I entertained him for a good few minutes, even though his English was less than stellar and it was getting on my nerves. Once I'd polished off my coffee, I asked if he was aware of my registration with the Telephone Preference Service, to which he replied in the affirmative. I then shared my reasoning behind that registration and politely said my goodbyes, effectively taking up about twenty minutes of his time.

Received a call today at 15:55. No one spoke and then they just cut off. Typical nonsense from scammers, I'd wager.

I keep getting calls from this number, but I never pick up. I did answer it once, and it turned out to be a bothersome call-nothing offensive, just rather intrusive and irritating.
