What a devious ruse! They initially ring up claiming to be from your mobile network, and for some reason, they actually got the right one this time! Next, they tempt you with a lovely 40% off your bill and ask you to verify your email address. While you're engaged on the call, they manage to access your account online and reset your password. This action leads to an email being sent to you from your provider, asking you to verify a PIN number included in that very message. Then, as if it couldn’t get more dubious, they dangle the prospect of a free phone, requesting your bank details for a direct debit-complete with assurances that everything will be validated by both your bank and your mobile provider, making it seem all above board, although in reality, they'd likely have the phone sent to themselves, not you. Following the call, another email pops up confirming the new password change from your service provider. I managed to hang up before they could fully complete their scheme, but not before they had already altered my account password. Thankfully, I’ve swiftly changed it again to secure my account against their meddling!

Got a call today at 11:20am on the 26th of Feb from someone saying they were from 3G networks trying to pitch me a deal. I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, so I told them to stop bothering me and hung up quick. These nonstop calls from abroad are getting really annoying.

I received a call from 02082670021 claiming to be from EE, attempting to entice me with an iPad mini and some discounts on my bill. The chap had a pronounced Indian accent and his English was a bit lacking. I'd strongly advise against sharing any personal details with them, particularly your email. After I firmly told him where to go, he actually rang me back and remained courteous! It's definitely a dodge; steer clear!

So I got a call earlier today, 23/2/2024, around 11:05am from someone saying they were from Three Mobile. I told them I'm not a customer of Three. Then they asked who my provider was, and I said, "You just said I'm with Three, so if you really worked for them, you wouldn’t be asking me stuff like that." After that, they just hung up. Bit odd if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were Harry Wilson, working for Three’s upgrade team in Tooting. It felt like a scam right away, especially since I’d had a similar call from the same number a few weeks earlier. When I called him out on it, he turned really nasty. I didn’t hold back either and told him exactly what I thought of him.

Typical scam artist hailing from the so-called "Three Upgrade Division". He introduced himself as Harry Wilson, claiming to be from Three in Tooting. It’s the same chap who harassed me a few weeks back. He becomes incredibly rude and insufferable when you challenge him about his dubious intentions. I’ve got a sharp tongue myself and made it quite clear just what I thought of him!
