I’ve had the usual shenanigans with some dodgy Microsoft engineer trying to get a foothold on my computer. This has happened repeatedly - four times in just two days! Quite the nuisance, to say the least.

Same old trick, isn't it? Had some trouble with my computer when they called. Found it quite amusing when I told him I wasn't buying into his nonsense. If this is genuinely a London number, why can't something be done to put an end to it?

I had a similar experience, to be honest. A so-called Windows expert reached out to me and wanted me to line up my computer’s CSID with his own. Everything matched up fine, yet I couldn't quite shake off my doubts about him. He then suggested I visit Tinyurl.com to resolve my computer troubles. When I mentioned that the page wouldn’t load and that I had no intention of running his programme, he became rather irritable. He claimed to be backed by Tinyurl and insisted he would use their tools to fix my device. Honestly, these folks are a real headache. The call began with a woman who later transferred me to a male supervisor, neither of whom sounded English at all.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from the Windows technical team, saying my computer had been compromised. They insisted I power on my machine so they could guide me through fixing the issue. When I requested a callback number, they abruptly disconnected. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
