Tell me about it, I fell right into this huge con too! They swindled £1500 off me! There was a bloke acting like he was a legit agent for London landlords. They even had a fancy website called lavish-london, and his mate pretended to be a ‘leaving tenant’. I did a FaceTime viewing with this so-called tenant but never saw his face properly. After that, they vanished - the landline was cut off and their number just switched off! I really hope they get their comeuppance soon. Such vile people, honestly hope the cops catch them quick and no one else ends up getting ripped off by them!

Some so-called London accommodation agency took my cash and then just ghosted me, not answering any calls after that. Absolutely a scam.
