Got a call today, and honestly, it was the same old song. They claimed they had three potential buyers keen on our car, but we cut the conversation short. They’d been a bother to my partner last month with this same dodgy spiel. It’s like déjà vu, as they tried this trick just weeks after we sold our previous motor. Such a nuisance! Do yourself a favour and just steer clear of them!

Seems like they’re trying to pull a fast one on us as well! Just got a refund of £49.99 for the car sale, and I promptly let them know exactly what I thought of that.

Received a call earlier today (30th January 2008) inquiring about the sale of our bike. We communicated that it is indeed available, yet the callers insisted they had four local individuals keen on viewing it. When we sought clarification on potential costs, they evaded our questions and ultimately proposed that, for a nominal fee, they would facilitate a connection between us and the interested buyer. We made it clear that we were unwilling to pay for this service, to which the woman abruptly responded, “So, you’re not interested in selling your bike then?!” and promptly hung up. After doing a bit of digging on the number, I came across a plethora of negative feedback. Best to steer clear of these folks!

Received a similar call earlier today regarding our vehicle which is listed for sale this week. They claimed to be a finance company and said someone was interested in buying our car, but we'd need to pay a fee of £49.95 to sign up, which they assured us we could reclaim once the car sold. They went by the name of motorshopuk, which turned out to be a scam website. The ridiculous part is that a colleague of mine, sitting right next to me, got a call from motorexpertuk about the exact same thing earlier today, but with a different phone number. I'd strongly recommend ignoring any calls like this or telling them exactly where to go!

We were contacted by these individuals who insisted we pay them to promote our vehicle. The moment we declined their offer, they became rather rude and ungrateful. We're keen to uncover the identity of these people.

Received a call from this number today right after we put an advertisement out to sell our car in a local publication. Thankfully, we didn't answer, and after doing a quick search, we stumbled upon this site. It seems very sketchy, as they're obviously just after your cash. Once you've handed over the money, good luck hearing from them again. The usual excuse? "We couldn't find a buyer, but we'll keep looking!" I've encountered this sort of thing before with different names and numbers. It’s appalling how some people will stoop so low to exploit those who are simply trying to make a sale. What a shocking state of affairs.

Best to steer clear of this lot. We received a call from them at the beginning of December, claiming numerous individuals were interested in our car, and that they could connect them with us. The company in question was motorexpertuk. They wanted to charge £79 to list our ad and assured us they’d have buyers on the line. However, once you part with your cash, there's no turning back, regardless of second thoughts. Just disregard the call; they seem quite dodgy.

We’re in complete accord with the sentiments expressed. These unscrupulous individuals claim they have assured purchasers for your vehicle at your desired rate. That's why we often suggest that if they really have guaranteed buyers, they should simply showcase the vehicle and deduct their fee of £79 from the price we’re willing to accept. It’s hardly surprising that they’re not keen on that arrangement! When confronted, they maintain that they wouldn't dream of undermining our intelligence, yet insist we need to pay a registration fee upfront. Frankly, that’s just them attempting to pull the wool over our eyes with their blatant scam! At that juncture, we firmly tell them to jog on. Stay vigilant, folks!

I noticed two calls from the numbers 02083436653 and 02082385000 which I ended up missing. It's quite intriguing! Coincidentally, I've recently had my car listed on several websites, so I wonder if it's related. Anyway, I'll wait for the next call and try to respond when I see that number pop up. Cheers for the info, everyone!

They called us inquiring about the vehicle, which is currently available for purchase. After confirming that we are indeed the sellers, they abruptly hung up on us. Quite strange, really!

We let go of our car to the very first caller and promptly deleted our Autotrader listing. However, these folks have since contacted us twice (without much success, it seems). On the second occasion, we recognised the number and thought it wise to investigate using this site.

I’ve just experienced the same scenario and am relieved we came across this information before getting ourselves tangled up. We’ve now learned to inquire about who’s on the other end of the line and their location before we engage any further with the call. Thank goodness for caller ID, it’s a lifesaver!

This afternoon, we received a call from a certain company claiming they could connect us with potential buyers for a car, and they tried to charge us £79 via debit card. The person on the line introduced himself as Luke Thomas. It’s quite apparent that their main goal is to get our money, after which there’s a good chance we won’t hear from them again. We attempted to call back the number “Luke” provided, which was 0870267121. Just a heads up to others out there!

Today, we received a rather dubious call concerning our car. These chaps were peddling all sorts of promises for a fee of £95, claiming that a whopping £90 of that would be refunded upon the sale! After asking a few questions about the vehicle, they then had the cheek to ask for our card details to process the payment. We told them we’d do some research first and get back to them. The operator introduced himself as Dwayne Brown and the number was 02082385004. Quite the experience, I must say!

Received three calls from these callers, and honestly, they’re rather bothersome! Back in the day when these folks excelled at selling cars, I doubt they’d have resorted to pestering people through free ads or Auto Trader. The minute they ring now, we just try to entertain ourselves by throwing them a curveball and wasting their time instead!

I recently signed up with a delightful lady named Shanaz over at MotorshopUK. Remarkably, they managed to sell my vehicle in just seven weeks for the full asking price! As soon as the deal was finalised, I received my funds back without any hassle. The service was truly exceptional and efficient, especially if you're after a speedy sale. If you're looking to sell, I highly recommend giving Shanaz a call at 0208 238 5017.

Earlier today, we received a call from that number, and I must say, I’m quite relieved we checked this site. Otherwise, we would’ve been left in the dark about who was behind it!

Received a call at 10:15 in the morning on the 1st of November, 2008. They were looking to schedule a viewing of our car for their prospective buyer over the weekend. They insisted that to secure the sale, we’d need to hand over our card details for an £80 deposit, which they claimed would be refunded shortly after the transaction. It all felt a bit off, if I'm honest. They mentioned they were providing financing for the interested party, which made us think they'd be raking in enough from that alone without needing a deposit from us. I politely turned down their proposal, and I’d urge anyone else reading this to do the same. Seems a bit shifty to me!

I just received a call from these individuals, and the moment we answered, they hung up without uttering a word. Quite frustrating, really! Out of curiosity, I decided to look up the number and came across a plethora of intriguing comments about them!

I've encountered the same situation with a couple of other numbers; one of them is already mentioned on here. The other number is 02083568367. After we hung up on this chap, the cheeky blighter called us back on a mobile and was rather rude! It seemed he knew we wouldn't pick up the 0208 number. The mobile number he used was 07966794554.
