a nice sounding guy called me, he knew my name and said somethin' about my washing machine warranty. funny thing is, i dont even own a washing machine - i always go to the laundrette! i told him this and he just ended the call straight away. honestly, these scam calls are driving me mad lately. since christmas, i've had like 20 different numbers ring me! ive started addin' them to my phone as "ignore 1", "ignore 2" and so on. such a nuisance.

don't get tricked by this bloke, sounds real polite and well-mannered but he’s just another appliance scammer. said one of our gadgets isn’t covered by warranty (which is rubbish) and I reckon he was gonna try and grab our bank info to nick cash from our account, hoping we’d fall for it. number’s blocked now.

Received a call where there was absolutely no sound at all on the line. Quite peculiar, really!

Got a call from a woman with an English accent who asked if she was speaking to (name), which I didn’t confirm. When I asked what the call was about, she said my washing machine warranty for (address) was about to run out. She never mentioned the company she was calling from, so I told her I didn’t have any warranty with them. Then I added that whoever handles the warranty should know the make and model of the machine. She ended the call right after that. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Got a call this afternoon from someone asking for my son, but I told them he doesn't live here anymore and they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from this number, but as soon as my phone asked who it was, there was nothing but silence. Sounds like a scam to me. I've blocked it now so they won't be bothering me again.
