Got a call from a woman who spoke really nicely about my washing machine warranty running out and said I could get a discount if I renewed now. Seemed convincing, but I never even registered a warranty to begin with! When I asked her to email me the details, she just hung up on me. Feels like a scam, better to stay cautious.

I got a call earlier on my home phone from this number. A posh sounding lady with really good English asked for me by my name. When I asked who she was, she said she worked for the washing machine warranty company and wanted to talk about renewing my cover. I told her I wasn’t interested and she just cut me off. Total scam, these nasty ppl just trying to cheat everyday folks out of their money. Bloody disgusting.
