Earlier today, I received a rather suspicious call from a lady claiming to represent an insurance firm. She insisted on chatting about my washing machine's warranty and seemed to have a rather tempting offer. However, there was something distinctly amiss about the whole interaction. It struck me as odd that she was keen to handle everything via phone, citing the current health concerns. That immediately raised alarm bells in my mind. After the call, I took the liberty of looking up the number and, to my dismay, discovered that I had been speaking with a fraudster!
