The calls just keep coming, yet the woman had no clue which company she was supposed to represent.

Got another scammer ringing me all day, loads of missed calls. They were saying something about a contract refund and seemed to know quite a bit about me. I just told them they’re blocked and I’d report them to the cops. As soon as I said that, they cut off. Turns out some of the stuff they guessed about me was spot on. Be careful and don’t share any details with these lot, they’re definitely scammers.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Legal and General, but when I questioned them, they said they actually deal with all insurance firms. They obviously had my name, but an outdated address, so I guess they bought a list somewhere. Seems dodgy to me, maybe a scam or some sneaky insurance sales tactic to get cash out of you. I just blocked the number.
