I got a call from this number and when I rang back, a lady picked up. As soon as I mentioned it seemed like a scam, she just ended the call. I got a call from 02081872635, some woman named Stacey Moore claiming to be from HMRC. She was asking for my NI number, full address and name. I could hear some people giggling in the background which was pretty odd. Then she started talking about a tax offence, gave me loads of ID codes and a case number or something like that. I ended the call straight away. Don’t bother ringing back - it’s a complete waste of time.

100% A SCAM! Don’t share any info with them! They tried claiming they were from HMRC. I called them back to see what was going on and looked through my real HMRC messages - nothing suspicious. When I rang the number again and asked if it was a scam, they basically admitted it was. They were polite but clearly up to no good. Seriously, don’t fall for this!
