A woman with a cheerful English accent said she was from BT Openreach, which is a bit different from the usual scam calls I get. I told her straight away I was onto her because we don’t even have BT - our copper phone line was ditched ages ago, about five years back. Plus, she used a business name we stopped using seven years ago! She got really annoyed and warned me BT Openreach would come and disconnect our line, risking my business, then just hung up. Honestly, it's quite sad she has to resort to this kind of work.
