Loads of warranty scam calls going round, especially for white goods, boilers, and sky boxes. They ring non stop cause it actually works sometimes. Every now and then they trick someone who's easy to fool. To help shield vulnerable people, make sure you report every scam call or text you get to the police database. Just google 'action fraud', then hit the 'police.uk' link, find the 'reporting' button, choose phishing from the dropdown, and scroll down to file your report. No need to sign up and it's quicker than posting on here. Stay alert everyone!

Was in my bedroom when the phone rang, I answered and immediately called them scam artists because they wouldn’t take no for an answer - it was the boiler cover lot being really pushy.

Got a call from an automated system trying to sell boiler cover. They never asked what brand our boiler was, which made me a bit suspicious. Felt like they were just pushing a sale without knowing anything about what I actually have.

Got a call from a guy going on about how my boiler cover could be cheaper or better. I told him I don’t actually have any boiler cover, but he just kept chatting away. When I actually paid attention, it seemed like some sort of automated recording. The number showed up as international on my caller ID, so I’ve blocked it now.

So, this time I got a call from someone saying they were part of the "UK Government".... seemed a bit fishy if you ask me.

I've come across this number before, and it’s definitely one to be wary of. It’s been linked to a range of dubious activities, particularly scams and fraudulent schemes. In my instance, they tried to lure me in with an offer regarding boiler insurance. It looks like the individual or group behind this number is rather skilled at their deceitful craft!

So this guy rang me up, proper quick on the talk, trying to sell me some plumbing insurance saying my current deal wasn’t good enough and he could sort me out a better rate. I had to remind him I’d already told him, just a couple of days before, that I wasn’t interested and wanted no contact. Told him again, "I’ve got nothing to do with you lot, cheers and goodbye."
