I got a call from 02081583741 the other day, and the lady said she was from Mobile 3 offering some kind of £11 a month discount on a Galaxy phone. She even said my missus had sent her, which is rubbish because my wife doesn’t use Mobile 3 at all. Feels like a total scam, just trying to get my info. Watch out for this one!

The phone rang and I chose not to pick up. Then the same number rang right after, which seemed a bit dodgy to me. Still, I ignored it since I don’t usually answer calls from unknown numbers (even some I actually recognise!). Later, I decided to call back and was met with an American-style voicemail saying my call was being redirected to a voicemail for some kind of marketing firm. After reading through the other comments here, I’m definitely adding this number to my block list straight away.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Vodafone and asked for my email and address first. Then he said he needed to run a credit check, so he got my account number, sort code, and even the long digits on my debit card. When it came to the CVV, I gave him the wrong one on purpose to see if he’d notice. Didn’t take long before I realised it was a total scam. Definitely dodgy!
