4 yearsSo I got a missed call the other day, and when I checked, there was a voicemail asking me to create a PIN for my voicemail account. Then, there was another message, but honestly it sounded like it was spoken in Chinese or some other language I don’t understand. I only got this SIM and phone number about a day ago. What’s weird is that earlier on, I rang my bank and just before they gave me my balance, they invited me to do a survey. After I finished, they said they’d ring me back... which felt off. I didn’t pick up when they called back. To me, this just screams fraud. I swear, scams and internet banking frauds are completely outta hand nowadays.4 yearsI got no response when I called. Seems like it could be a dodgy operation.4 yearsI received a call from what purported to be Amazon's fraud team using this number, claiming they were looking into a dubious order for an iPhone 12 linked to my account. They requested that I provide my security details for identity verification. I asked them to hold on for a moment while I checked my Amazon account, and lo and behold, everything was perfectly normal. No orders like that had been placed at all.Amazon4 yearsGot a call off a lady from this number saying she was from BT. She warned me that my router wasn't safe. I said I'd have someone check it out. Bit odd though, since the last person mentioned something about Amazon.BTAmazon4 yearsGot a call from a woman with a recorded voice saying my account had been charged - supposedly by Amazon - one for a small sum and another for more than £1,000. She told me to press 2 if these weren’t payments I recognised. I did press 2, then she said to press another number to reach a support person, which I definitely didn’t want, so I just ended the call. I’ve been in touch with both my bank and Amazon in the last day but nothing about this came up. Looked up the number - 0208 1577086 - and I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.AmazonSubmit Your Own Report (020 8157 7086)
