Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming he was ringing from EE with a deal on a phone that seemed way too good to be true. He sounded pretty convincing, but I stayed cautious. I let him think I was interested just to see where it went, then he started asking for my personal details. The call kept dropping, and when he rang back, he suddenly said he was calling from Vodafone instead. I asked if there was any way to prove he was legit, but he couldn’t give me anything. When I called it out as a scam, he got really annoyed and just hung up on me. Definitely a dodgy number, looks like it’s coming from a VoIP service. Watch out, it’s a complete scam!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was ringing from EE with a bargain price on a new phone. Sounded believable but I was suspicious straight away. Played along like I was interested, but he kept probing for my personal details. The call kept cutting out repeatedly, and when he rang back, he suddenly said he was from Vodafone instead. He couldn't give me any proof he was legit. When I called him out on it being a scam, he got really rude and just hung up. BE CAREFUL, THIS IS TOTALLY A SCAM! The number comes from a VoIP service.
