Got a call saying there was a problem with my PC, but I knew that wasnt true so I just hung up. The guy on the phone had a strong Indian accent and he called me back two more times, each time getting all aggressive askin why I just ended the call. Definately block this number!

Guy spoke with an Indian accent, saying there’s a problem with my computer. I said no. He said it's malware or something infected. I said no again. Asked if I was at my computer, I said no and wouldn‘t be dumb enough to fall for a scam. He just kept reading from the same script, mentioned Chinese hackers. Couldn’t get him to actually answer my questions, just stuck to the script. I asked how he could sleep at night trying to scam folks. No reply. After a few more minutes of me poking holes in his story, he finally gave up and hung up.

Got a call from some bloke who said his name was Alex Lopez, but sounded nothing like it - proper thick Indian accent. Told him straight up he was a lying git and not to ring me again or there'd be trouble. Next time they call, I’m gonna send a bill for £500, saying their mate agreed to it and now they’ve got to pay for wasting my time.

I was getting calls from this number like 6 or 7 times a day for about a week, so I finally decided to call back. A woman answered and said sorry for all the hassle. She just needed my phone number and said they’d take it off their list straight away. Since then, no more calls for the last couple of days.

I reached out to the number listed by Verso Group, and I must say, the woman on the line was quite understanding. She expressed her regret over the bother these calls had caused me and requested my phone number to ensure it gets taken off their list without delay. Since that chat, I've not received any further calls from them. If you're having similar issues, I’d recommend giving them a ring as well!

Regarding 31/3/2016, if you don’t actually know who you’re calling, should we then assume your team is just sitting there guessing phone numbers and areas? I mean, the reason I’m asking is because these so-called lovely Indian sounding folks with names like Alex, James, Andrew, Paul, Stephen and Karl call me literally every single day, always asking for me (and horribly mispronouncing my name) - and they already have my address and postcode!

Ugh, Verso Group calling again using some of their 'brands'. They ring up pretending it’s just a survey, which doesn’t break TPS rules, but then slyly ask permission to share your details with other companies - basically lead gen, which TPS forbids. If you check Ofcom’s website under All Open Cases, they’re looking into this. Anyone who gets a call like this should definitely report it to DMA, ICO, and Ofcom.

Got calls every evening for like 5 days straight; different Indian accents each time. Took me till the third call to figure out they were talking about "Savers" - before that, all I caught was something like "British" something or other "Club". I ended up telling them off pretty sharp. Then no calls for a couple of days.

some bloke with an indian accent rang me claiming to be from the british servers club, said there was something wrong with my pc and asked if it was on and what i could see. i told him i’ve been in it for over 40 years and know what i’m doing, but he started yelling that i was lying, kept saying it over and over, then just hung up on me. honestly, that guy sounds like he’s got some issues!

I had a rather unpleasant experience with a phone call from this number earlier today. The gentleman on the other end was exceedingly rude and hostile. He kicked things off by claiming there was an issue with my computer, to which I attempted to clarify that I was well-versed in IT matters.
