I got a call from this number and a guy with an Indian accent claimed he was from my phone company, O2. I told him I wasn’t with O2 and ended the call. Then he rang again, same bloke, but this time he asked if I fancied going for a coffee because he said my voice was lovely and I was the most beautiful girl he’d ever heard. Proper odd, so I just said no, hung up and blocked the number straight away.

O2 is at it again trying to scam me. I keep getting texts asking for login codes, supposedly to get into my account. So I’m just feeding them fake codes to mess them around. Despite that, they keep ringing and calling me “sir” even tho I’m only 24 and already reported this number a few days back. It’s getting a bit annoying now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying I could get 30% off my contract. They knew bits about my account, like my email, but when I asked for my name, they couldn’t provide it. I ended the call straight away. Later, I phoned O2 myself and they told me it definitely wasn’t their call.

At first, I assumed it was a work mate having a laugh for April Fools, so I just went with it! Thankfully, I didn’t share any personal info. The caller said they were from Carphone Warehouse offering a discount. They didn’t know they’d rung my work mobile, meaning no chance of reaching the account owner. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, offering to upgrade my phone and cover the remaining 3 years on my contract. They wanted all my personal info before telling me exactly what the deal was. Having worked at Dixons before, I know we don’t handle O2 stuff anymore, but this guy insisted he could still sort it out. When I tried asking questions, he kept interrupting me the whole time.
