Seems dodgy to me, they said they were from o2 and promised 20% off my monthly bill. I asked them to send details by email but they said they couldn’t. I told them I needed it in writing to check it wasn’t a scam, then they just said “Your call, ma’am” and hung up on me straight away.

Sounds like a total scam, I wouldn’t bother. I got a call from someone saying they were O2 and had a 20% discount on my plan. They wanted me to confirm personal info for some sort of ‘verification’. I asked them to email me the offer instead, assuming if they were legit, they'd have my email on record. Never got anything. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call saying they were from O2 offering to cut my monthly charges by 20%, but only if I shared some details with them during the call. They said they couldn’t send anything by email. Sounded dodgy, probably a scam. The person on the phone barely spoke proper English too.
