Definitely a scam, nothing to do with O2!!!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from O2, saying I’d been 'picked at random' for a 40% discount on my phone bill. He tried to confirm my number but got it wrong, and when I pointed that out, he just brushed it off. Then he sent me a text with some code he wanted me to say back to him, and that’s when I just ended the call. Funny thing is, the text actually warned that no genuine O2 employee would ever ask for that code - watch out, it’s a scam. After that, I kept getting more dodgy messages. Definitely not legit.

I strongly suspect that this was a scammer on the other end of the line! They claimed to be from O2, offering me a staggering 50% reduction on my existing plan. The thing is, I don't even have a contract with O2 in the first place!

Received a call supposedly from 02, but that’s not who I’m with now. I told them this and they just hung up on me. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Had a call from 02, some bloke called Ranjt trying to push a deal on me. Told him no thanks and ended up putting the phone down and blocked the number right away.
