I got a call from this number and the person on the other end wanted my info, claiming they were with O2 and wanted to delete my data from their system. When I told them I’m not even with O2, they still pushed for my details. I refused to share anything‼️ Feels pretty risky to me.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up, claiming he was part of Vodafone's "gay team" trying to find a soulmate or summat. I just told him to jog on and ended the call.

What a nuisance! This number keeps flashing up as EE.

This number never actually rang my phone, it was caught by the spam filter right away. Looking it up here, it looks like it's still linked to scams, but the latest report I can see was from about a month back.

Got a call from a woman with a really thick Indian accent who said she was calling on behalf of EE. She tried to pitch some offer about 1000 international minutes plus limitless texts for £7.99 each month. As soon as I said I wasn’t interested, the line just went dead straight away.

Beware of scammers!!! I got a call from a woman called Eleanor, she said she was calling from EE but sounded very fake and was definitely from India. I hung up straight away.

Had a call around 11:45 on the 4th of July, 2024. The person on the other end was trying to entice me with a 10% discount on every call I make with EE. They were keen on finding out what sort of phones I've got, too. I pointed out that I'm with BT, who actually owns EE, and I couldn't help but wonder why BT doesn’t extend the same kind of deal to me. After that, the caller abruptly hung up. The voice sounded like it was from the Far East, a bit fishy if you ask me.

They first claimed to be from Vodafone but then switched to EE, which makes me think this is probably a scam.

My partner got a call just before I did, and it was from the same number like minutes apart. The caller said they were from Vodafone, but honestly that's all I could make out - and I usually can understand different accents pretty well. I didn’t bother listening any longer and just blocked the number straight away.

On the 21st of June, 2024, I received a call purporting to be from Vodafone, touting some exclusive deal for 12 customers that included unlimited calls and an enticing 1000 international minutes for free. I politely declined their offer, and then, just like that, they cut the line.

So this guy rang up saying he worked for both EE and 3, called me Ma’am but had no clue what my name was. When I asked him how he got my number, he couldn’t give me an answer. I wasn’t having any of it, just told him to send me an email or a letter if he wanted to talk. Didn’t bother chatting with him at all.

I got a call from a girl claiming she worked for O2 and trying to sell me some deals. I told her straight up it was a scam and asked why she wouldn’t just get a real job. She replied asking me not to judge since I didn’t know what she was going through. Honestly, she sounded a bit down.

Don’t fall for it, they claimed to be from 3 but it’s a total scam. They wouldn’t just ring you out of the blue like that 😒 best thing to do is just ignore and hang up.

I received four calls from them. I let two go to voicemail and picked up on the other two occasions. During one call, I answered but didn’t utter a word, and they mentioned something about EE before I hung up. The next time they rang, they identified themselves as being with EE, and when I said "yes," I could hear my own voice repeated back to me before the line went dead. Out of curiosity, I tried to call them back twice to figure out what was going on, but the number was apparently unlisted. I suppose it’s on me for picking up since it flagged as potential fraud, but their constant ringing convinced me to answer on the third and fourth tries.
