2 yearsOn the 30th of January 2024, I received a dodgy message about the supposed renewal of my McAfee antivirus subscription. To be clear, I've never used this software, yet they're claiming they'll withdraw a hefty sum of £749.98 from my bank account for a three-year "renewal" that I supposedly opted for. They did provide a contact number, but when I called, a chap picked up without divulging the name of their company. Just a heads up to keep your guard up against these con artists using the email "[email protected]".McAfee2 years0208 144 9086 I got a call from this number about a supposed charge of £749.98 for a three-year McAfee subscription after a trial ended. Right away I was suspicious because I never signed up for McAfee, and that amount doesn't match anything on their site. Plus, the signature didn’t even have the official McAfee trademark. Definitely don’t fall for this, it’s dodgy.3 yearsJust received a badly written email from this lot, demanding payment for an invoice supposedly from "norton-life-lock-service" and referencing that number.
