He mentioned that a fellow named Paul Martin would be popping round to deliver this cheque to my doorstep today. However, he insisted that I needed to make a payment of £225 in commission using PaySafe vouchers before that could happen. Claiming to be based in the City of London, I reached out to check with them directly, only to discover they had no record of this individual. I called back and spoke to yet another chap with an Asian accent, who bizarrely stated that they were from the ‘Despatch Team of the City of County Court’.
