2 yearsMy partner had a rather odd phone call from this number, claiming to be representing O2. Strangely enough, they appeared to have all his information. Before he knew it, he found himself in possession of an Apple iPhone that he certainly didn't ask for! Thankfully, O2 has been quite supportive and is looking into the matter.Apple3 yearsGot a random call from some bloke with a foreign accent, said he was Sam Wilson from O2 (yeah right!). He tried to sell me a 30% cut on my phone bill, then told me to ring back on this number (0208 1448612) and ask for extension S1085W. He even gave me some password like myo2...ss... Complete scam, and it’s mad that they’re allowed to get away with this. Feels like the law just doesn’t give a toss. Watch out!Sam Wilson3 yearsThey pretended to be from O2, offering me a new contract, then started sending emails that looked like they came straight from O2’s official address. Next thing, they’d got into my account and signed me up for loads of high-end iPhones on contracts without my consent. Proper con artists. And get this - the number they gave me to call if I had problems was meant to be their “direct” line! They really should be brought to justice and shut down, no doubt about it!O23 yearsSomeone saying they were from 02 hacked into my account and bought a really expensive phone. Luckily, I was able to stop the order before it was sent, but it was a massive pain to deal with.3 yearsGot a call from some bloke claiming to be with 02 or Virgin. He had this foreign accent and was banging on about a 33% discount on my phone plan. Total con though, cos he tried to mess with my Virgin Media and 02 passwords. Said his name was Peter Palm and gave a number 02081448612 ext.718822 or something like that. When I twigged it was dodgy and put the phone down, he kept ringing me back from loads of different numbers, but I just ignored them. Absolute rubbish, a right nuisance.VirginVirgin MediaPeter PalmSubmit Your Own Report (020 8144 8612)
