Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from 02. She went on about moving satellites and things I couldn’t really catch. Then she told me my number wasn’t with 02 any more, which is right. She then asked if I’d be interested in getting a new phone. I just said no thanks and ended the call.

Really nasty and just feels like a total con! This bloke kept telling me to "relax", which was cheeky since I was perfectly calm. I told them straight up to stop ringing. We don't even have an electricity contract ourselves, it’s all handled through another company, so these calls make no sense. Like loads of others have said, they were after the business owner, claimed it was about our power supply, but couldn’t say what company they were from or who exactly they wanted to talk to. Proper dodgy.

I got a phone call from a woman from India claiming my supplier had been overcharging me and that I was owed a refund. Her accent was quite tough to get and she seemed a bit stressed. Then she handed me over to a man who was quite pushy and wouldn't stop talking. I told him I didn’t really get what he was saying and asked them to just send me the information by post or email instead. They never sent anything, but the calls keep coming, sometimes three or four times daily.

Got a call from a bloke claiming he could lower my electric and gas bills. Told him to take me off his list straight away, as it’s illegal here in the UK to keep calling once you've asked them not to. He just laughed it off and said he wasn’t bothered and wouldn’t remove my number. I pointed out that he clearly didn’t care because he wasn’t even calling from the UK, despite the number showing as one. His attitude was awful. Honestly, someone needs to step up and sort out these relentless and rude nuisance calls.

Got calls from some scammer asking for the owner, so I said he wasn’t available and then the bloke started yelling at me over the phone.

This number has buzzed my phone more than 20 times today. The bloke kept insisting he was from the national grid and accused me of lying. We ended up putting him on hold, then hung up on him, told our mate to just ignore it, and even asked the caller what sandwich he wanted before he finally gave up. Cops say they can't do much, and BT can block the number, but now he’s ringing from another one, so it's a bit of a nightmare.

So this guy from India said he was ringing from EON. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he started swearing at me, so I just hung up. Then, he actually rang me back and started shouting about why I wouldn’t answer his call! I told him we’re on the TPS, so he shouldn’t be phoning us. I recorded the entire thing and plan to report him. He just laughed and said he was recording me and would report me instead, mad!
