I received a call from someone who claimed to be representing Lloyd's Bank's Fraud Division. They stated that there had been a dodgy transaction for £200 on my account. Unfortunately, I’m a Santander customer, so this is clearly a scam attempt!

I received a call stating that £1000 had been deducted from my bank account, and they insisted I verify my account information with them. It was then that I recognised it was a scam. The individuals on the line sounded like they were based in India.

I received an automated call from 07519 974 335, claiming to be a security alert from Lloyd's Bank regarding a suspicious transaction of £600 being attempted from my debit card. The message prompted me to either press 1 to dismiss it or 2 to connect with Lloyd's Bank. I regrettably pressed 2 and ended up with a poor connection to a male representative, who insisted that I contact Lloyd's Bank’s Fraud Department on 020 8144 6955. I was advised to disregard this call, as it's a complete scam. After visiting my local branch, they confirmed that the number I received was not affiliated with Lloyd’s Bank and urged me to ignore such communications, as they are merely fishing for your card details.

I received a rather concerning phone call informing me that a transfer of funds had been initiated from our bank account to China. They had both our name and account number, which raised alarm bells. When I requested a contact number for a callback, the person on the line simply instructed me to reach out to the bank branch directly. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

I got a rather dodgy call earlier from someone trying to pull a fast one, insisting that there was a £600 fraudulent charge on my debit card. When I mentioned that my bank was Santander, he promptly handed me a number to ring. So, I thought I'd have a bit of fun and wasted his time instead. It really got his goat, and he ended up hurling some choice language my way before hanging up! Quite the amusing encounter! 😊

They might prompt you to search for your '2My 1P address location,' which will lead you to an IP address in Mountain View, California. Instead, the correct method to check your details is by searching for 'My IP Address.' They often spiral into alarming tales about your bank information being handled by fraudsters. You may find them suggesting you download remote access software like Anydesk on your computer or TeamViewer on your phone.
