Reports on phone number 02081446936
12 yearsJust got a call today, 15th Jan, from someone claiming I owed £2400 in PPI and needed to buy a 10% UCash voucher to sort it out. The number they gave me was 02081446936. When I said I couldn’t pay £240, he quickly dropped it to £40. I rang the number back and got through to someone in an office that he said had about 25 to 40 people but wasn’t sure exactly. Later, he called me, but the caller ID showed a Stockholm country code. When I asked about it, he insisted he worked for the Ministry of Justice on Petty France Road, London - a place I know fairly well. I asked him to describe the street and he said he had no window. He also claimed to be a “government agent,” which sounded totally off, especially since I work in government and that’s not how we’d say things. Then he just hung up. Definitely a dodgy scam if you ask me.StockholmMinistry of JusticePetty France RoadLondonStates12 yearsI just got a call from some bloke claiming I’m due more than £3000 from a PPI claim.
