Yet another scam call, why don’t they ever get blocked? It’s clear it’s a con when the number shows up as a London one. Honestly, I’m fed up with these annoying calls.

This number keeps ringing me over and over. Funny thing is, I’m usually busy or out when they call, and whenever I try to ring back, it tells me I’ve dialled a wrong number and to check it again. The last time they got in touch was at the end of last month, and today they phoned twice. Looking at the comments here, it’s clear it’s a scam, so best just block it. Or if you’re bored, have a bit of fun and keep them hanging - payback for wasting our time, eh? ;)

I received a rather aggressive call from someone with a thick Indian accent who wouldn’t let up. They kept hollering, “LISTEN TO ME!” as I tried to explain that I wasn’t keen on their offer and requested the removal of my information from their records. It was quite an unpleasant encounter, to say the least!

Got a ring from the Promotions team claiming to be from "Three", giving a deal on a 5G sim for £5. Was pretty clear it was dodgy since their info was completely outdated. The caller sounded like they were from an Indian call centre, with a strong accent too. Total scam if you ask me.

Had a call from some bloke calling himself Wilson, claiming to be from a network provider. He was proper rude and even made some awful racist remarks, went as far as threatening to rape people. Total muppet, wouldn’t trust him for a second. Don’t pick up, he’s not clever enough to run a proper scam anyway.

I recently got a 5G SIM from this lot, and ever since, it seems like I’ve got satellites tracking my every move, even in the most crowded places or when I’m trying to relax in the shower. It’s beyond awkward! They even managed to crash into my garden, leaving behind some rather dodgy radioactive residue, which apparently is messing up the signal all across the country. On top of that, a chap with a distinctly Indian accent, claiming to be a UK government rep, told me I’d need to cough up cash for their replacement. Now, my finances are in tatters. What a nightmare!

Pretending to be from EE, This chap reached out, claiming I was an EE customer and could benefit from an upgrade on my contract. I promptly informed him that I wasn't with EE at all. To that, he had the nerve to ask, "Who are you with, madam?" I shot back, "If you've supposedly got all my details, you ought to know that already!" He kept insisting I should listen because he had a fantastic offer. I made it clear that he needed to hear me out instead-I refuse to discuss anything over the phone due to the ever-present threat of scams, this one being no exception. If I decide I want an upgrade, I'll head to an actual store and sort it out there. Unsurprisingly, he hung up on me.

Early this morning, I got a call from someone with a really soft Indian/Pakistani accent, mumbling something about 02 customer service - I could barely catch what they said. I've been getting loads of these scam calls recently which keep waking me up. For a while, I had my phone on do not disturb and finally managed to get some peaceful nights, but now these callers are ringing twice to get through. It’s honestly starting to piss me off.

Received a call three days back from someone touting an unbelievably low price on a new iPhone. I mentioned I’d have to discuss it with my wife before proceeding, so he promised to ring me again on Monday. Come Monday morning, I decided to reach out to them, only to be met with the rather dubious news that the offer was too good to be genuine. They even inquired whether I had provided any bank information, to which I firmly replied, “Absolutely not.” Later on, the same dodgy character got back in touch, insisting that I must fork out £160 immediately to get my hands on the phone. This smacks of a scam! I urge you all to block this number at once.

Someone with a thick Asian accent called me on my mobile claiming to be from EE. He was trying to get me to upgrade to a new sim for £30 a month. I said nicely I wasn’t interested, but he didn’t take no for an answer and went on questioning me about my phone and how much I pay. So I made up some nonsense about not following him and told him again I wasn’t keen on anything he was offering. After that, he just ended the call. Definitely avoid this number, it feels like a scam to me.

I encountered the typical scenario of a caller with a pronounced accent-likely from an Indian call centre-purporting to represent Three. This individual insisted that I needed to upgrade to a 5G SIM because the 4G service is supposedly going dark in a matter of weeks. When I probed further, especially regarding the fact that many folks don't possess 5G-compatible devices, he swiftly turned irritable, claimed I was just wasting his precious time, and promptly disconnected the call. Quite the experience!

Got a call from someone with a thick accent, sounded like it was from one of those Indian call centres. He said he was from Three and insisted I had to get a 5G SIM because 4G was getting switched off soon. I recently had a strange conversation regarding the number 020 8144 6819. The chap enquired if I'd got my new SIM card with 5G capability. I mentioned I hadn't actually asked for one. He insisted it was dispatched to my home. I pressed him on where it was sent. "Oh, to your address, madam," he chirped. Naturally, I needed clarification. "Which address exactly?" I probed. Was it 123 Mug Street, Dense, Kent?" "Absolutely, that's where it went," he confirmed. I expressed my disbelief, saying I hadn’t seen it. Then, he swiftly pivoted, offering a fantastic deal on the new iPhone 14 Pro and asked me for my bank details. Intrigued, I said, "Just a moment, let me fetch my card." So, I just had a rather odd interaction with someone claiming to be from EE. They mentioned that 'the satellite's orbit has shifted' - I found myself wondering how on earth that’s even possible!
