Sounds like a total scam, these guys are just frauds trying to pull a fast one.

This number kept ringing my phone nonstop, but the connection was so poor that at first I just ended the call. They kept mentioning something about business energy, but never revealed the company. On the third try, the woman sounded annoyed and claimed to be from npower, saying they wanted to refund me but needed me to verify my info. They couldn’t provide an account number and instead asked for my birth date, so I cut the call again. Since then, they've called me at least four more times within the hour.
