Received a call that popped up as Citi Trading Limited, which seemed rather dodgy. I decided to pick up regardless, and the person on the line claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse, inquiring about what make of phone I was using. I countered by saying that if he truly represented Carphone Warehouse, he ought to already have that information. Just to clarify, I don't even have an account with them! It felt like a bit of a game, and if he was attempting to pull a fast one, I thought I'd join in the fun. He promptly hung up on me. Well, he’s now firmly blocked!

Someone called pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse and started asking about my phone contract and provider. Their aim seemed to be tricking you into a scam. They promised the newest phone at a super cheap price, then asked for my bank details saying they’d only take the first month’s payment and refund it next month. Honestly, be really careful with these con artists!
