Got a call from someone claiming my computer was infected by a hacker and might crash soon. He offered to fix it and asked for my number, then gave me this one instead.

Just got one of those typical calls from "Windows support" saying my computer’s got a virus. I played along for a bit then told him I’d ring back later since my PC wasn’t nearby, which he tried to pry about - not sure why he cared where it was. He passed me a phone number, 02081445982, and the bloke on the line, with a pretty strong Indian accent, said his name was “David Bekham” (yeah, that’s how he spelt it). I had to cut him off quick before I burst out laughing.

Lately, I've had a couple of calls from someone claiming to be the "Microsoft Tech Support" team, and they mentioned a number which I'm now holding onto. They also said they were from "Southend PC" or something like that. I managed to keep the first person chatting for about five minutes, and they got pretty rude and told me to "f*** off, you idiot" when they cottoned on that I was messing with them. Then the second one I had on the phone for a full ten minutes. Sadly, I had to hang up after that 'cause I had actual work to handle, so I couldn't spend ages on the next two calls I got. Still, if anyone can beat my ten-minute hold time, shout out!

I got a call from a lady speaking with an Indian accent who said she was from the Windows OS service team. She told me my computer had malware and they needed to connect to sort it out. Felt a bit dodgy, so she ended up giving me this other number to call. The original number she rang from was 02083116688.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a windows support team offering to assist me.
Of course, they tried to get me to install some program to let them in. Luckily, I’ve met these sorts before so I played along for a bit.
The bloke said his name was Harry Martin and gave me the number 02081445982. Don’t bother ringing it though, it just goes to his mobile.
Pretty sure Microsoft wouldn’t be ringing me up about computer issues out of the blue!

What a bunch of scam artists, luckily I found out about them beforehand. I wasted my time with no computer involved. Really feel bad for those who got caught by these ruthless folks without any conscience.

This number just called me claiming to be from Microsoft Windows. The person said my computer had a virus and tried to get me to follow some online steps to fix it. I didn’t fall for it and didn’t follow any instructions. She ended the call after that.
