I mentioned there was a lot of noise in the background, and then they just ended the call. Seems like whoever called thought I wouldn’t be an easy target for whatever they were trying to sell.

Got a call on my tablet number, which hardly anyone has. The caller said they were from Carphone Warehouse doing some promo. The guy sounded like he was from South Asia. He was pushing an "latest" iPhone 12 deal for about £35 a month. I told him that 12 isn’t the newest model and messed around with him for a bit before he just dropped the call. Then BT tried to call back but ended up hanging up after around 30 seconds. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call supposedly from Three, saying they had a deal to upgrade me.
