I got a call about some deal on an iPhone 14 Pro Max for £25 a month, saying they’d sort out my current contract, sounded too good to be true. Turns out it was a scam linked to Vodafone. I wasn’t sure exactly what their plan was, but I rang my bank straight away and put a stop on my card to be safe. The seller was trying to charge through Tesco Mobile, which didn’t seem right at all. Ended up cancelling everything cause I knew it was dodgy from the start.

I received a call today from someone claiming to be with Admiral Insurance. They stated that they wished to talk about a compensation claim regarding my car from an accident I supposedly had. It was rather odd as they then requested my bank information. Please exercise caution!

So this time it was called the road accident line or something like that. Definitely sounded Indian and from the way they were speaking, seemed like a scam or some cold calling nonsense. When I asked for a website, the person on the other end couldn’t even give me one. That’s usually a dead giveaway right there.

This number kept ringing me 8 times over just a couple of hours. They were trying to persuade me that I'd been involved in a car crash sometime in the last two years. I told them no, then they switched to saying a family member living with me had. I ended up warning them that I'd be reporting their number to the cops.

Called twice today from this number ####. The guy at first claimed he was with Admiral Insurance. After that, he mentioned wanting to talk about some payout related to a crash I had with someone else last year. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

the caller said they were with the claims department, so i just ended the call right there.

I got a call from someone who was talking way too quick, so I asked him to slow down and tell me his company name again. Instead, he just snapped at me with "go f*** yourself, does that make it clearer?" and then just ended the call. Proper rude!

They’ve rung me three times today and simply cut the line. What a pointless hassle!

I received a call purporting to be from Churchill, the car insurance company, regarding an accident that apparently never took place. It's quite bizarre, honestly.
