I fell victim to a right con artist who nicked £60 from me under the guise of a brilliant deal on a mobile. Not long after that, they made an attempt to drain my bank account, but thankfully their efforts were thwarted. To make matters worse, I received two phones, neither of which were what I had ordered. They insisted I return them to a specified address by recorded delivery, so I complied. The address was as follows: Mr. Shar, 10 Gibraltar Street, Blackburn, BB2 6HF. I've been keeping an eye on the tracking, and it shows that it was indeed delivered and signed for. Quite the dodgy affair, I must say!

Pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, these folks are actually running an Indian call centre scam, trying to pull the phone upgrade con. The ringleader goes by the name “Alex.” They're not the brightest when it comes to scamming, so why not ring them back for a bit of a laugh? Just remember, keep your personal information under wraps and don't get sucked into their tall tales!
