I got a missed call from this number right after I put up some ads on Gumtree. Can’t call back though, seems like it’s not a real two-way phone number. Pretty sure it’s either some sort of scam or just a sales call.

I had just put up an ad on Gumtree and Shpock, and barely a minute went by before my phone rang. Pretty sure it was one of those annoying spam calls, so I didn’t even pick up. No doubt it was some sort of scam.

Heads up, someone rang me about an iPhone deal, but when I got in touch with Fonehouse, they told me it wasn't them. Seems like a scam to me. Definitely don't share your phone info with callers like that!

sounds like these dodgy calls are from illegal immigrants from india, probably grabbing numbers off sites like gumtree! or maybe you upset someone who’s messing about. you can't really tell for sure tho. best thing is just not to pick up if you’re not waiting for anyone, if it’s legit they’ll leave a voicemail anyway.
