I got loads of texts and calls from a debt firm claiming that if I didn’t use their services, which they admitted I wasn’t eligible for an IVA right now, they’d come round at 5. I rang them up and was told their number started with 144 - definitely a scam. They were really aggressive, even commenting on my mental health and telling me to just lie about things, blaming me for my own troubles 😳. They also said they had an independent option and were linked to the government. The whole thing has been really stressful and pushy.

Just got a call from 02081443919, said they’re an enforcement officer coming round Friday between 5:10 and 5:15 pm. They mentioned they’ve got a court warrant to take stuff from my place over some kind of debt order. They said I should either be in or give their debt recovery team a ring. Sounds pretty serious, not sure what to do now.

I’m just chilling at work today but decided to mess with them a bit - already dialled their number more than 150 times without my caller ID showing. Seems like they’re getting pretty frustrated now.

I've received a few messages from this number, and fortunately, a quick search revealed it's a scam. Just today, I got another message, and with not much happening at work, I felt a tad mischievous. So, I concealed my caller ID and called them back. Let's just say, it turned into a bit of a spat! The chap on the other end suggested I should just disappear. Naturally, I couldn't resist ringing him countless times after that. I've lost count, but it's probably near 250 calls and hang-ups now (did I mention it’s been a rather slow day?). The funniest part? On the one occasion he answered, he actually offered me money to stop 'harassing' him! Honestly, it’s been a right laugh. Take it from me, don’t bother returning their calls unless it’s to truly wind them up. Cheeky fun! 😉

I’ve now reported the whole thing to Action Fraud, but honestly, I’m just messing about by calling them back loads on a withheld number. It’s a bit of a laugh hearing them get all worked up. I got a call from some debt collectors claiming bailiffs were on their way, saying Lowell’s had sent them my details. Thing is, I don’t owe anything to Lowell’s. The person speaking was really rude and aggressive. Just a heads up to watch out for these lot.

I had a ring from someone just like these calls today. He said he was coming round to pick up some items from my place. I’m usually quite polite, so I replied, ‘Alright mate, no worries,’ but then I made it clear he wasn’t leaving with any of my stuff - or his pride either, for that matter. After that, he suddenly didn’t want to chat anymore, which was a bit odd.

I got a call from someone saying I owe Lowell Portfolio about £1000. They told me if I didn’t sort out a payment plan, they’d send bailiffs round to take stuff from my house. The bloke also said, “One way or another, we’ll get the money.” I ended up hanging up, but he rang back asking why I ended the call. I just said no, and then he started threatening me with court.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from a debt collection agency. My son wasn’t convinced and asked loads of questions. The caller said he was with DRA, but when my son phoned the actual DRA, they told him it’s a common scam where people pretend to be from them. Definitely dodgy!

I got a couple of texts saying someone was on their way to my place to collect a debt. When I rang them up, this bloke called Martin said they’d bought the debt and wanted payment immediately. I offered five quid, but he just snapped back that they wanted the full amount or they’d be round tomorrow. He even told me to shut up and just pay. When I checked with the original company, they said they hadn’t sold the debt to anyone and that it’s definitely a scam.

Avoid returning calls to this number, it’s a dodgy debt collection outfit. I phoned them and pretended to be interested for a bit, but when they said they’d put me through to another company, I let on I was recording the call and they just dropped the line!

I rang this number after receiving a rather alarming text notifying me of a supposed bailiff intervention. Frankly, I’ve never heard of this company and certainly owe them no money whatsoever. Initially, I played along, mentioning my financial constraints, to which the representative casually replied that he could halt any sort of action but insisted on putting me through to a third party. Apparently, they would settle my supposed debt, and I could then reimburse them little by little. At this point, my instincts kicked in, and I expressed my concern about the whole situation, reminding him that the conversation was being recorded. Just like that, the line went dead! They attempted to ring me back, requesting sensitive bank information, which raised serious red flags for me. This whole encounter feels distinctly dodgy and reeks of a scam!
