First off, his voice sounded a bit dodgy, like a robot or something - he pronounced “query” so weird, like “qwurry” or whatever. And when he said “my name is,” it reminded me of that fake voice from Home Alone 2, you know the one Macauley Culkin uses when pretending at the hotel? Proper weird. Once I told him I had barely a quid in my account and no credit cards or savings, he just hung up.
