I received a call from this number, claiming to be from Nationwide Building Society, stating they were calling to inform us that our loan application from eight weeks prior had been approved. The peculiar thing is, we never even applied for a loan with them! So, I decided to give Nationwide a ring myself, and they had no record of any such loan or any call made by that number. It all seemed rather sketchy, to say the least!

We received a call from this number claiming to be from the Nationwide Building Society. The caller insisted that our loan application, submitted roughly eight weeks back, had been approved. However, we have no intention of pursuing anything with them. Curious, we decided to contact Nationwide directly, only to find that they had no record of this call or any such approval. Quite frankly, this seems rather dodgy, doesn’t it?

I found the personnel at this company to be quite unpleasant and rather unhelpful. It’s alarming that they freely share sensitive information over the phone, seemingly without a second thought. Just today, they divulged details regarding our son, who is only 18, and yet they wouldn't provide a mailing address before hanging up. Truly baffling behaviour!
