10 yearsI received a call from a chap named Paul Simon, apparently representing Dispatch at the City County Court in London. He mentioned something about having some PPI cheques waiting for me. Rather curious, I must say!Paul SimonDispatchCity County CourtLondon10 yearsWhat a complete con! Just today, I got a call from the very same number. When I attempted to return the call, the same chap picked up, feigning to put me through while suddenly putting on a different accent. I pressed him with numerous questions, wondering why on earth they wouldn't simply post the cheque instead of delivering it in person. He quickly got flustered and started to sound robotic, mindlessly repeating his lines. Such a dodgy operation!10 yearsI received a rather strange call earlier from a chap claiming to be working with the city county court. He mentioned something about PPI and said I was in line to receive £225 on a paysafe card. He instructed me to ring him back at a given number, and a fellow named Paul Martyn would deliver a cheque for £3,100 in person. Quite the odd situation, isn't it?Paul Martyn10 yearsAbsolute bunch of fraudsters! Best not to share any details with them whatsoever.10 yearsI've had several calls from a bloke named Sam Hunt, claiming to represent the county courts in London. He purports that there's a cheque waiting for me regarding a PPI refund. However, he insists that I must fork out over £200 after the cheque has cleared. To do this, he says I’ve got to obtain a payment slip from PayPoint and present it to the office that’s supposedly delivering the cheque. Sounds a bit dodgy to me!Sam HuntLondonPayPoint10 yearsI completely blanked on mentioning that the chap who called identified himself as Sam Hunt from the London County Court.Sam HuntLondon County Court10 yearsIt's absolutely ridiculous how some individuals have the audacity to show up uninvited at your front door, demanding that you complete endless paperwork.
