They gave me a ring and started throwing around fake stock trading terms, pushing these bogus "stockshares" - total rip off! What really got me was they already knew my full name, which was kind of creepy and bothersome. Watch out for these scams!

Got a call today from some energy firm that’s not even based in the UK, saying they want me to invest in their shares so they can start up here. They were going on about how their low-cost energy would somehow make healthy food prices drop. Sounds dodgy to me, didn’t want any part of it. And they’ve called me four times already today!

I saw a comment from someone saying they have no clue who’s sharing their info. Something similar happened to us - the council actually asked if they could share our details and we said no way. But now we’re getting calls from strangers on numbers we don’t recognise, and we’re sure they must have shared our stuff anyway because we never gave permission. It’s baffling where these people are getting our info from!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Debt Solutions, asked for me by my name. He sounded like he was from South-east Asia or somewhere nearby. I’m really wondering how they got my details? I only have one monthly bill I pay regularly, so is someone out there just passing around personal info like names and numbers? Feels a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from some debt help place, sounded a bit iffy, bloke with an Asian accent doing the talking. Definitely felt suspicious to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a debt help service, saying they saw i’ve been paying off an unsecured loan regularly. I told them I don’t have any unsecured loans and they just went “oh, okay” and hung up straight away. Didn’t say goodbye or anything polite. Felt really dodgy, like a scam or just annoying spam.

This debt company keeps pushing that an IVA is perfect for absolutely everyone, even if you’re managing your loan repayments just fine. Something about this doesn’t sit right with me at all. Seems really off on a lot of levels.
