So these folks called saying they were from O2, said they weren’t trying to sell me anything, but then mentioned I'd get a discount on my phone SIM for being a loyal customer. All they wanted was for me to confirm a couple of texts they sent over. Bit fishy if you ask me!

It seems I've come across a rather dubious call, purportedly from the Car Phone Warehouse. The person on the other end, a lady with an Indian accent, seemed rather suspicious and certainly wasn’t providing me with any credible information. It felt like a scamming attempt, to be honest. Just a heads up for anyone else who might receive a similar call!

I got a call from a bloke named Omar who spoke with a sort of south Asian accent, offering me an iPhone 11 max at just £30 a month, and said I could keep my current phone too. It sounded a bit dodgy, so I looked up the number. Then he rang me again, and I told him off for trying to scam a 17-year-old without asking my parents first. Honestly, don’t share any of your details with these kinds of callers!
