Today, I got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRE. They said I messed up my 2016 tax return and that I could be sent to jail for 6 months because of it. The caller insisted I pay the owed amount immediately or else they wouldn’t cancel the arrest warrant. Just a heads up, this is definitely a scam - don’t fall for it!

I got a call from some bloke saying he'll come round and nick me if I don't cough up my taxes straight away. He even asked for my bank card details to sort the payment! I just blocked the number immediately. Watch out if you get a call from this one, it's dodgy for sure.

Don’t freak out if you get a call from this number, it’s a scam. A couple of muppets pretending they’re from HMRC. You should definitely report it to the police, they should be able to track where it’s coming from.
