4 yearsHello there! I recently received a call from this number promoting a mobile phone package that sounded rather too enticing to be genuine.4 yearsI received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming to be with Three mobile's customer service. Strangely enough, they knew precisely when I was eligible for an upgrade. To make a long story short, they attempted to extract my card details, aiming to take a £50 deposit for a shiny new phone. Fortunately, my bank’s robust security measures thwarted their little scheme. After the incident, I reached out to Three directly, and they assured me that it was indeed a scam-no one from their team had contacted me at all.Three4 yearsI've got a dual SIM mobile, and amusingly, both my numbers are nearly identical apart from the final digit. Just recently, I received calls on both numbers in quick succession-barely five seconds apart! What's peculiar is that the caller ID was hidden, yet this specific number seemingly doesn't allow for incoming calls. Quite the conundrum!4 yearsThis is definitely a con. Better to avoid picking up the call altogether!4 yearsI received a call from someone who claimed to be offering a mobile phone upgrade. They mentioned there’d be a deposit required upfront but assured me that the phone would be delivered the very next day.4 yearsI had a rather frustrating experience with them when I tried to upgrade to a new phone. Initially, they required a deposit, which I thought was standard practice. However, the day after I received the phone, they contacted me-via text or phone call-to say they’d dispatched the wrong device. Then, they asked me to return it to a specific address they provided. Once I sent the phone back, I heard not a peep from them again. They made off with my phone and my deposit as well. It felt like a right con, and it's safe to say I won't be falling for that again!4 yearsMy daughter received a call from someone offering her a phone upgrade, and they took a £20 deposit. When the new phone arrived, they called to inform her that they’d sent the wrong model. They requested she return it to a London address, promising to send the correct one the following day. However, nothing ever arrived. We’ve now had to involve the police in this mess.London4 yearsI received some mobile phones from them, but afterwards they claimed it was an error and requested that I send them back.Submit Your Own Report (020 8144 0553)
