I can confidently state that this number is a complete scam! They contacted me claiming to be from Currys Carphone Warehouse. On the 27th of October, they deceived me into sharing my banking details, which led to them withdrawing £30 from my account without permission. They even attempted to make another attempt at my funds, but thankfully I had the foresight to cancel my card and notify my bank. To make matters worse, they seemingly registered me for an O2 mobile contract and SIM, which I was completely unaware of at the time. They insisted that I send them an iPhone, and although I was nearly willing to do so, a vigilant staff member at the post office intervened and alerted me to the scam. Now, they’re persistently ringing me from various numbers, so I must tread very cautiously. Furthermore, I'm having a tough time with O2; despite sending them the necessary information, their fraud team has yet to resolve the mess they've created.
