These callers are such a pain, honestly. You block one number and then they ring from another 0208 number straight away. They usually start off with a really bad accent saying something like "hello how are you?" I just end up hanging up straight away. Something’s gotta be done about this!

A couple of scammers called me pretending to be from total gas and power's renewal department. When I asked for my customer number, they couldn’t provide it. Instead, they just threw out two different ID numbers which didn't make any sense at all.

To totally throw off a scammer, just say you don’t have any contract at all and that your place runs completely on solar power. Had this muppet so lost for words, was hilarious!

Had this lot ringing me nonstop for days, supposedly from eon energy, going on about my electricity supply. When I asked them which address it was about, they just said mine. I mentioned I manage a few different accounts, and after a while, they threw out some random registered office address - you know, the kind loads of companies use, but no actual supply there. I asked to speak to a manager and they just cut me off. Their English was pretty dodgy, and I swear I heard background noise like it was from abroad, definitely not the UK.

Im so fed up with these idiots ringing up my business, its always the same crap script ive been hearing for years now. Theyve called me half a dozen times today alone, and thats actually a quiet day. The telephone preference service is useless, it does nothing to block these annoying calls. Honestly, its driving me mad and im running out of patience.

Got a call from a lady with a foreign accent asking for the business owner. She said it was about a new npower agreement we'd recently signed, which we have. She asked for the boss's mobile number but I wouldn’t give it out. I suggested she send an email instead, but she wasn’t having it, claimed she needed to talk to him before posting anything. Thought it was all a bit fishy, so told her that was nonsense and ended the call. Pretty sure it was some sort of dodgy scam.

Keep getting calls from them asking to talk to the owner. They just don’t stop ringing.

Received a phone call purporting to be from my energy provider, but it’s clearly not the case. They are undoubtedly attempting some dodgy scam.

It's probably just some pest sitting on a stone again. The number looks a lot like one I got before. Def not from London. You can buy these from the dodgy BT, no problem.
