The sound quality was rather hushed during the conversation. I found myself speaking with a woman from India, though the name of the company slipped my mind. She appeared to be promoting mobile deals, but it wasn't completely clear what she was getting at.

Got a call from 'carphone warehouse' after missing a few over the past fortnight. Finally picked up today to find out it was just another spam caller. Didn’t waste time, hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from 'Carphone Warehouse', trying to sell me iPhones and SIM cards at 40% off. Was surprised since I wasn’t aware CPW operated out of India. Plus, their phone number was faked to make it look like it was coming from the UK. Definitely a dodgy scam!

Received a call today at 09:29, but there was no voicemail left. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number!

I picked up the call and after a brief two-second silence, someone with a noticeable Asian accent-possibly Indian-introduced themselves as “Jordan.” It felt a bit off, so I promptly ended the conversation and decided to block the number.

some woman called me from overseas, her english was really hard to follow. she was trying to sell me the newest products or something. i told her i’m fine with what i’ve got already, then she just ended the call.

It was pretty clear it was a call centre. I picked up, and there was this long pause before some foreign voice started talking, so I just ended the call and put a block on the number.

Looks like I missed a couple calls this week from that number. I ended up putting the phone down straight away so I didn’t catch how much they wanted or what it was about - just had a weird feeling, seemed off to me.
