10 yearsAbsolutely ludicrous! It's nothing but a con, and I sincerely hope we never encounter your so-called contact centre!11 yearsI received a call from the number 02081338664.11 yearsWe received a call from someone insisting we need to fork out £150 in the form of a 3V voucher.11 yearsI handed over £100 to a bloke claiming to be Richard via a Ukash voucher, yet there’s been no sign of any loan or funds. Now I can't get hold of him, and Trading Standards require an address to proceed with my complaint.Richard11 yearsCould this possibly be a con artist at play?11 yearsI too received a call today from a company named UK Loan Ltd. A foreign chap named Richard went over the loan details with me and even provided a reference number along with a contact number for callbacks. He requested a UKASH voucher for £100, claiming it was to demonstrate my capability to repay the loan, promising that it would be refunded to my account along with the loan amount. I went ahead and purchased the voucher, relaying the number to them. They assured me that the funds would be deposited into my account by 4pm, and that they'd ring me at 4:45 to confirm everything had gone through. However, when I checked my account, nothing had appeared. When I tried to reach them again, they refused to acknowledge my reference number and instead told me the funds would arrive by 9am the following morning before abruptly hanging up on me. My subsequent attempts to contact them were met with rudeness, and I was disconnected twice. I really wish I had done my homework on this number prior to buying that voucher! They seem to call from a number that shows as 104 on mobiles, and ‘unavailable’ on landlines. I've reported this to ActionFraud at 0300 123 2040 - I urge anyone else affected to provide as much detail as possible to help put a stop to these scammers preying on innocent individuals like us.UK Loan LtdRichardUKASHActionFraud12 yearsAvoid shelling out any cash for this.
