Got two calls back to back over a couple of days, both times no one spoke when I picked up. Tried to report it to Ofcom but the online form just wouldn’t go through, maybe they're overwhelmed with complaints about this number. I do have caller ID and figured I’d answer just to give whoever was there a piece of my mind. From now on, I’m just gonna let it ring out to voicemail - that seems the only way to deal with these annoying calls.

I picked up the phone and some guy with a strange accent was asking to speak to my mum, who’s quite old and has trouble remembering things. I’ve told them many times to stop calling this number and said I’d report them to the police. Sometimes they just hang up, other times they get worse and more pushy. When they do hang up, they usually ring back within five minutes but then don’t pick up. Honestly, I’ve started just not saying anything or holding the phone away from me and letting them blabber on until they finally give up and hang up.

It's often framed around dodgy surveys, a supposed Microsoft fix for a sluggish computer, or something equally dubious. They might be angling for credit card details or even attempting to breach my computer's security. All very unsolicited and downright annoying - it's like they think they can just rent a phone line and hassle people from their comfy armchairs in London. The calls seem to come from a slew of different numbers, typically falling within the 200 to 900 range, even accounting for the so-called “newer” 020 3 prefixes. Honestly, I’ve found the best approach is to let them prattle on for a bit before cutting them off. Let them talk to themselves for a change and then just hang up. It’s much easier than engaging with their drivel!

Got a call from this number earlier today. Picked up and they just cut off straight away. I'm honestly fed up with constant ringings like this. There oughta be some kind of petition or action to put an end to these annoying calls. Feels like pure harassment to me. Surely there should be regulations stopping firms from swapping personal info like it's some kind of market. Celebs have shut down pesky journalists, so why can’t we ordinary folks fight back too? It's all about the cash in the end. Makes me feel a bit ashamed to be British sometimes. It’s just awful.

I keep getting around 4 or 5 calls every day from people asking for my mum. I've told them she has Alzheimer's and begged them to stop ringing, but they just won't quit. It really upsets my mum because she gets all confused and struggles to reply properly, which makes her upset. But they don’t seem to care and keep on calling anyway. Such insensitive and unpleasant behaviour.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, using outdated details about the previous occupant of this house. Unfortunately, she passed away back in 2012 and it’s now 2016. He sounded like he was trying to push for more donations for charity, but honestly, I didn’t feel right carrying on with that chat.

I've had calls from 020 8133 8031 like three times today alone. I'm disabled and I've explained that my phone is only for emergencies, but they just keep ringing me. I'm registered with the TPS too, yet the calls got so annoying I ended up unplugging my phone. As soon as I plugged it back in, the calls began again within five minutes. Honestly, I’m at a loss on what to do next.

About 5 days back, i told whoever is behind 02081338031 that i wasn't interested but since then they keep ringing like 4 or 5 times daily. The annoying thing is, they wait till i pick up then just hang up straight away. Lately, they've started calling after 7.30pm if i missed them earlier. Its getting proper irritating now, especially coz the very first time i explained to them that i'm on the TPS, and the guy just replied with "so what" and slammed the phone down on me.

Got a call today from some woman, but I couldn’t catch her name properly. Every time I said no, she just kept replying with yes. Eventually, I asked if she actually understood what “no” meant and told her to remove me from their list. I ended the call, but then some bloke rang back and told me to listen to him… so I hung up. He rang again, insisting I wasn’t allowed to hang up and had to listen, but I cut off again. Since then, I’ve ignored all their calls. Proper harassment, and I’m on the ex-directory too.

Over the last few weeks, this poor elderly lady who isn't well has been getting calls from them almost every few days. They've even been asking her for PIN numbers. Despite being registered with the telephone preference service, she keeps receiving these annoying calls. It's really upsetting.

Mate, just say you work for a consultancy and charge £25 just to reply, then £50 for each 10-minute chunk after that. Ask them to connect you to their accounts team so you can sort out the invoice details. They usually hang up quick smart, and that’s the last you’ll hear from them. Works every time!

So this number kept calling me, asking if I was Mrs... I have quite a deep voice, so then they asked if I was Mr... I honestly told them he’s passed away, and then they just hung up. They’ve been ringing me loads, proper annoying!

Received a call from them today regarding some lifestyle questionnaire. It was a proper faff trying to shake off the caller. By the end of the chat, I specifically requested that my information should not be passed on to any third party. Imagine my surprise when, just a couple of minutes later, I got another call from a company they had mentioned, claiming they'd 'just got my details.' What a cheek!

I chose not to pick up when this number rang, but after reading loads of other comments, it seems like the call centre just drops the call as soon as anyone picks up. Feels like they’re just checking which numbers are live so they can add them to a list to spam later.

He wasn't trying to sell me anything luckily, but he kept ringing up again and again asking about different suppliers for stuff like gas, TV, and phone services. I told him to knock it off or I'd have to report him to the TPS.

Bloody awful B.T., they control most phone exchanges in the UK. This number kept ringing me and when I tried to call back, B.T. acted like they didn’t even know it existed. They could easily put an end to this nonsense but they just won’t bother. Proper rubbish.

Got a call from some bloke with a thick accent, sounded like he was from somewhere like Bangalore or maybe Calcutta, hard to tell. I couldn’t catch a single thing he was yakking about, even after I let him go on for ages. You’d reckon they’d hire folks who actually speak English properly instead of these dudes mumbling nonsense. In the end, I lost it and told him to jog on and mind his own business. Absolute muppet.

Just like many others, I’m getting loads of calls from this number every day, usually starting early morning around 7:30 and sometimes even late into the evening near 8. It can be two or three calls a day. Whenever I pick up, they just hang up straight away. And when I try to call back, it says the number can’t be reached. Proper frustrating!

Today, I got a call from this number, a bloke with an Asian accent rang me and said he wasn’t trying to sell anything, just had a few questions. Funny enough, he said his name was John. I’ve been caught out before when I answered such calls - ended up on some list and bombarded with sales calls afterwards. So, when he started with his first question, I just shot back, “That’s not something you need to know!” And off he went, hanging up straight away.

Totally horrible experience! They were so pushy, kept trying to force me to answer things when I clearly said no - I’m allowed to decline! I’d just got home from work and I’m still getting over a heart attack I had not long ago. He actually called me unkind, which is completely wrong because I’m really not like that at all. They keep phoning me daily, saying they're from Infinite Savings and doing some kind of lifestyle survey. The creepiest part is that they already have my full name and address, which they say comes from some public database. I've never given them any info, yet they just won’t stop contacting me. Today they asked if I was married, working, retired or unemployed - I ended up laughing at them and they just hung up! I’ve tried TPS but they say there’s not enough info to track them down. Really frustrating.

Occasionally, there’s just silence on the other end, but sometimes you hear a guy or a woman speaking with an Asian accent. One time, a bloke said he was from Infinity Savings. Huge thanks to BT Guardian’s call blocker! It caught two calls from this same number in just three hours today - and that’s even though I’m on the TPS and my number’s private. Don’t share anything personal if they do get through, and unless you’re up for a bit of hassle and can handle rude behaviour, I wouldn’t bother picking up. This system that lets these calls come through is seriously rubbish.
